When I started doing research, I felt overwhelmed by the technical demands of neuroscience research, like programming experiments, processing data, and fitting statistical models. As I learned more about these topics, I came to appreciate the central role of research software in the scientific process and turned my focus towards training and supporting other researchers.

I am currently working as a research software consultant in the field of neuroscience at the University of Bonn in Germany, where I teach workshops on programming and data analysis, and help other scientists with their code.
